Mogar Ki Curry

Ingredients -

Green Moong Dal - 1 cup
Oil - 1 tbs
Rai - 1/4 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Hing
Haldi - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Dhania Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
chopped coriander leaves - For garnishing
water - 3/4 cup
Salt to taste

Preparation Method -

1. Wash and soak dal in some water for 2 hours.

2. Mix chilli powder, dhania powder, haldi, salt in 2 tablespoon water.

3. Heat oil in a heavy pan, add rai then jeera and let them splutter.

4. Add hing and masala mixed water.

5. Stir and cook for a minute.

6. Add dal and some water if required and cover the pan with lid.

7. Cook till dal is soft to press.

8. Stir gently taking more care not to break dal.

9. Add garam masala now.

10. Don't make curry so thin.

11. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
